Our Founders

Bob Lanphere Jr.

Owner

Bob Lanphere, Jr. is the owner of LCD.  Bob has always had a passion for construction that started at an early age while taking a construction cluster program in high school.  This spark eventually lead him to work in various subcontracting capacities throughout his youth.  Fast forward to a time where Bob was in great need of professional construction management and quality contracting on his various dealership sites, and a formation of his own construction company was a natural fit and very smart business decision.

David Wales

President

David graduated from Oregon State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering Management and a minor in Business Administration. David has worked as a project manager in the industry since spring of 2005. David joined LCD in April of 2011 and was promoted to Director of Construction Management in August of 2012.

Chad Withrow

Director of Field Operations

Over 20 years in construction experience from excavating to general contracting. Oversee multiple crews, set up scheduling with Project Managers and estimators, and contribute to estimating, overseeing and maintenance inside Shop including tools, vehicles & the fleet. Meeting with inspectors, material ordering, scheduling subcontractors.

Tyler Anderson

Director of Civil Engineering & Site Construction

Tyler joined LCD in January 2014 as Project Engineer and Project Manager. His expertise includes civil site design, wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) design, reclaimed/recycled water system, design, storm water system design, cost estimation and pump station design. His background provides a cost effective, sustainable outlook on the projects he manages.

Hank Piersma

Director of Accounting

Hank is a seasoned professional accountant with over 20 years of experience in construction environment running reports, financial analysis, budgeting and managing a team of accounting specialist, banking and insurance relationships.

Amy Chenier

Marketing Communications Manager & Executive Assistant

Amy joined LCD as the Construction and Facilities Coordinator where she managed the Facilities and Support Team. She moved into the role as Marketing Communications Manager where she has a dual focus of the administrative support to the President and being responsible for supporting new business efforts and marketing strategies of LCD.

Brent Lenzi

Safety Manager, CSM

Brent set the foundation for his work ethic after completing four years in the United States Marine Corp where he established qualities such as leadership, dependability and integrity. Brent has been a key contributor to the success of LCD no matter what role he has been in. Brent is now our full time Safety Manager and Certified Safety Administrator committed to promoting and maintaining our Safety culture. He plans and implements training for employees, conducts weekly safety meetings and administers safety policies and procedures.

Jerad Lillegard

Project Manager

Jerad Lillegard has joined LCD as a Project Manager. He has more than 10 years’ experience working on multi-million dollar construction and HVAC infrastructure projects for public and private sector clients. His proven history of successful project completions is a great asset to our team.

Nicole Snell

Project Manager, Interior Design, LEED

Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design, from Oregon State University 2006, LEED Accredited Professional 2006-2014 Interior Designer/Project Manager at Axis Design Group. Experienced in residential and commercial design and specialized in dental and municipal. Skilled at space planning, finish selection and construction documentation.

LARRY BROOKS

Project Manager

Larry Brooks has joined LCD as a Project Manager with over 22 years of Commercial construction experience. He has managed many different projects and building types including tenant improvements, new build construction and site development, within the sectors of retail/ strip malls, grocery stores, restaurants and office buildings.

Project Coordinator

Amber began working at LCD in its infancy, and helped develop the Facilities And Support Team (FAST) She is responsible for dispatching technicians and coordinating their activities, helping to ensure a quick response, and quality workmanship.

Mick Martin

Project Superintendent

With over 20 years in the construction industry, Mick has experience in all facets of construction ranging from residential, to commercial and light industrial. Mick has spent several years as a Project Manager overseeing many commercial projects in the Northwest. Although he has served as a Project Manager, his passion is being a Project Superintendent. He enjoys his time in the field overseeing the progress and daily construction details of the project. He has the ability to work well with a variety of people, including Project Owners, Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, Sub Contractors and other Project Staff. Mick is very good at keeping the project on schedule while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship.

Scott Brockway

Project Manager

Scott joined LCD with 15 years of experience in carpentry and has been a true asset to our residential division. He quickly progressed as a residential superintendent after only one year of service and now serves as a Project Manager.

Andrea Lanphere

Facilities Coordinator

Andrea joins the LCD team as our Facilities Coordinator to manage and supervise our F.A.S.T. program. She is responsible for supervising the maintenance needs of multiple properties of our various clients and partners. She brings a wealth of experience and is a true asset to our team.

Rod has worked as our maintenance tech since the early years of LCD’s existence. He successfully leads the Facilities And Support Team.

Lenny Newman

Project Superintendent

Lenny began his career in the Construction Industry as a carpenter at Robinson Construction in the 70’s and quickly transitioned into excavation where he oversaw multiple crews of over 60 employees for multimillion dollar jobs. As a seasoned veteran superintendent, he knows how to get the job done and is a valuable resource assisting other superintendents with any support needed once a project is underway. Through his commitment to excellence and hard work, he has continued to exceed LCD standards by excelling beyond the highest level leadership and commitment to maintaining a safe culture

Ben Collins

Project Superintendent

Ben has over 18 years of experience in the Construction industry from working as an equipment operator on large excavation jobs to taking the lead in running high dollar projects successfully as a superintendent.

Steve Meunier

Project Superintendent

Steve has a 20-year record of success overseeing successful construction projects such as, retail store remodels, medical clinics, new retail stores, energy efficiency upgrades, and environmental projects for government and private-sector clients. Experience includes managing crews of up to 80 on ground up retail stores, asbestos abatements, and a variety of other construction/demolition projects. Backed by strong credentials and a proven history of on-time, on-budget and high-quality project completions.

JR Rutan

Project Manager

J.R. Rutan has 12 years of experience as a project manager, cost estimator and inspector for a multitude of civil, residential, commercial and municipality projects. His experience includes knowledge of project procurement through design and construction. As a project manager, J.R. has completed estimates, negotiated and bid private and public projects.

Robert Hern

Excavation Project Superintendent

With over 21 years of excavation experience, Robert has developed knowledge and expertise in the areas of safety, field operations and leading crews for high dollar projects. He has an extensive background in underground utilities, excavation and highway road improvements. Robert has quickly advanced within the company and is an excellent addition to the leadership team.

Jason Koonce

Project Superintendent

Jason started working in construction when he was only 16 yrs. old as a general laborer doing drywall and roofing which is where he gained is diligent work ethic. With his natural ability to do beautiful work with drywall, he became a seasoned carpenter. He has 25 years of experience and a true asset to LCD Residential.
